I want to like these shorts, but in the 5" length the "platinum dashed lines" pattern can look as if you're wearing boxer briefs. Like you just rolled out of bed. (My wife does not approve of them for public wearing, unfortunately!) I thought they'd be a versatile neutral color, but I'm having trouble finding the right color top to make it all work.  

The shorts are well made and fit nicely, with an inner brief that's supportive -- not too warm or tight. 

Was a little worried about the "charcoal scribble" pattern, but these look great -- the wife approved! They also fit and perform well. Pockets are a good depth, so items stay in. Was worried liner might be too tight or hot, but it does its job well. Very happy with these,

Extremely comfortable shorts. Liner is a bit looser than other brands which I have tried. Not a complaint, I actually like it this way. I wouldnt call the liner loose necessarily, I lift in them and wear casually but not sure I would run in them.  

Nicest shorts ever, only problem is finding them in stock
